Silver Sand

Silver Sand is a favourite amongst gardeners as it provides countless options for use in and around the garden. Lime-free, it primarily consists of quartz particles which are not coated in iron oxides, making it perfect for adding to growing media. Washed and dried, it has a horticultural grade quality which is perfect for seed sowing, setting cuttings and for use in compost mixes.
Silver Sand can also be mixed with peat and loam for a perfect lawn top dressing, alternatively, it can be used to mark out seed beds or forked into heavier soils to improve drainage and reduce water-logging.
